Wenger hints at move for Mahrez after revealing admiration for Leicester staR

Arsene Wenger admitted Arsenal are interested in signing Leicester City's wantaway star Riyad Mahrez. Mahrez, 26, has announced his intention to leave 2015-16 Premier League champions Leicester, alerting Wenger and Arsenal. Algeria international Mahrez was named the PFA Player of the Year and scored 17 league goals as Leicester shocked the world by winning the title, while he netted six times and assisted three goals in 2016-17. While Arsenal have not made a bid for Mahrez – who wants to play regular Champions League football – one could be forthcoming. "We have not made a bid, but personally, I like the player, yes. I think he made a huge impact when they won the championship," Wenger told beIN Sports. Zaire headed to Gainesville to join Gators

The Notre Dame graduate transfer quarterback confirmed what was widely expected Saturday to Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman, adding that he would be heading to Gainesville on Wednesday. The move to transfer to Florida comes after the SEC announced Friday during spring meetings that it would alter its graduate transfer penalty from three seasons to one. When he arrives on campus, Zaire will have to learn Florida’s offensive playbook and pro-style system quickly, before fall training camp kicks off in August. However, he should certainly be a contender in the quarterback competition, considering the other competitors are two redshirt freshme

What Carmelo Anthony Knows About Eternal Security that Phil Jackson Doesn’t

For those who are not NBA basketball fans, I need to lay some groundwork: Phil Jackson is the hall of fame coach who led (or depending on who you ask was just along for the ride for) the Michael Jordan-era Chicago Bulls to six NBA Championships and later was head coach for five more NBA Championships with the likes of Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal and Pau Gasol. After a historic coaching run, he is now President of the New York Knicks. Carmelo Anthony is a three-time Olympic Gold-medal winner and 9-Time NBA All-Star. He has been the star of the New York Knicks since being traded there from Denver back in 2011. ‘Melo signed a 5 year, $124 million contract to play for the Knicks through the 2018-2019 season. The blockbuster deal includes a “No-Trade Clause” which allows Carmelo to veto any trade offer the Knicks bring to the table. Now about eternal security—eternal security is sometimes referred to as “Once-Saved, Always-Saved.” Essentially, it is the teaching that salvation is a
