A music minister committed suicide

Biko Allow me scatter this TABLE He comes to church for digging deep, revival hour, Sunday service 1,2,3 and all night every last Friday of the month... But you never asked Micheal how do you live? He will sing praise  with so much passion, jump and dance like me and make you worship to forget your sorrows, cry your heart out and sometimes during his worship you get your healing..... But you never met him to ask him how much is your house rent or do you have food stuff? Many of us worship leaders have been frustred and mocked ,while doing our service unto the Lord, not bcos some of us are strong is the reason why you feel Micheal was weak... We could have taken our own lives but instead a large number of us left the church to play in club houses..... Since you decided not to appreciate your own the Lord will definitely require his or her blood in your hand.... My advice to every musician and praise and worship leader is this, make sure you have something doing to ea

Islamization Agenda Again? What are these questions doing in a CRK Exam Paper?

A user of the popular Nigerian forum site Nairaland  posted pictures of "odd" questions he found in an examination paper meant for students of the Christian Religious Knowledge/Studies. The questions appear not to have any basis as far as Christianity is concerned and one can only wonder if the aim of the examiner was to foster religious tolerance or further cause tension as these questions are basically Islamic/Quranic. Kindly see the pictures below:  Do you think this is another covet. Islamization Agenda via the Education Sector or a thoughtful move to promote tolerance by expecting students to know about other religions? Share your thoughts.

BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO, WARNS FG AGAINST FORCING ISLAMIC STUDIES ON CHRISTIANS

BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO, WARNS FG AGAINST FORCING ISLAMIC STUDIES ON CHRISTIANS Speaking after an emergency meeting of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) in Lagos on Thursday, June 29, Oyedepo said the government does not have the right to force any student to study a particular subject. He said stopping Christian Religion Knowledge in secondary schools meant that it would not be encouraged in tertiary institutions.  “You cannot force our students to study Islamic Studies or Arabic Studies,” he said. The PFN, which is presided over by Rev Felix Omobude, also expressed concerns about the development.  “The PFN is concerned at the contention and controversy that have attended the revised Basic Education Curriculum, especially the unnecessary collapse of Christian Religious Studies as part of an omnibus subject known as Religion and National Values. “We note the explanation by the NERDC on some of the issues raised. “However, the PFN maintains that whatever the case, there

Biafra is destined

Nnamdi Kanu is careless with words by he is effectjng change By Moji Danisa One thing that adds up when Gej supporters and Nnamdi Kanu's supporters are in aa confined space together, is the fact that Nigeria under Buhari, is fast-tracking into a failed state. Nnamdi Kanu is rash, yes, he is brash, yes, he is tactless, yes. He is young, he is fiery, he feels betrayed by a nation and like other young revolutionaries, he is quick to temper and makes rather rash statements. I woke up this morning and did a thorough mind search. Che Guevara, Fidel Castro, Thomas Sankara, Nzeogwu, Gideon Orkah, etc...were as young and reckless and careless with words. Did they effect change? Yes, so I have decided to change my mind again, about the young man, Nnamdi Kanu though I still think he should be in fatigues because peace in a nation unwilling to change and clearly not ready to let go will not be a walk in the park. Do I think Biafra is now? I will say Biafra is destined. Now, I'm gl

Glen Campbell Says ‘Adios’: The Story Behind His Farewell Album

Photo by Lisa Lake/Getty Images) Glen Campbell’s new album — his true farewell record, despite an earlier recording that was billed as such — is Adios, a collection of songs he secretly recorded shortly after his final tour came to a close at the end of 2012. It opens with his version of a song it’s hard to believe he never recorded before: “Everybody’s Talkin’,” the Fred Neil tune made into a smash hit by Nilsson in the early 1970s. Surely, you think, it was chosen because, without having been written to, it seems to describe the condition of Alzheimer’s. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/L2_XnShocBg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> In fact, Adios seems to be a concept album of sorts, with most of the tracks making at least a passing reference to remembering, forgetting, being stuck inside one’s head, or just saying so long — all the way down to, obviously, the Jimmy Webb-penned title

IG model tweets out phone number of Steelers' Antonio Brown

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown could not have enjoyed the sudden flurry of texts and calls on a Sunday. (AP) How was your Sunday? An All Pro wide receiver probably didn’t enjoy his quite as much, likely getting his cell phone blown up with texts after an Instagram model tweeted out his number to the world. Jena Frumes, who has 1.9 million Instagram followers and another 43K on Twitter, sent out the following message Sunday on Twitter — before later deleting it — to Pittsburgh Steelers wideout Antonio Brown: [Fantasy Football is open! Trump vs. Comey: Lawmakers turn up heat on president about contradictory claims

Trump at a joint news conference with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis at the White House on June 9. (Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images) President Trump’s claims contradicting former FBI Director James Comey’s testimony about their conversations faced fresh scrutiny Sunday, with lawmakers on both sides of the aisle putting pressure on the commander in chief to offer proof of his charges. California Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, said on CNN’s “State of the Union” that she has no reason not to believe Comey. “Well, at this point, I believe the FBI director,” Feinstein said. “I know him the best. I have observed him the longest. I know he has his own brand of integrity.” Feinstein said she disagreed with his decisions during the federal investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server and “let him know that monosyllabically.” “But in this kind of thing, he’s not going to lie,” she said about Comey’s testimony. “It’s ju

How 'Wonder Woman' could change Hollywood

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- "Wonder Woman" won't be the biggest box office opening of all time. It's highly unlikely that it'll even be the biggest opening of this year. But it is poised to set a box office record arguably more meaningful, and hopefully with more long-term impact on the industry: the biggest opening for a female director ever. If the superhero film, which stars Gal Gadot and was directed by Patty Jenkins, matches expectations, it'll undoubtedly be seen as a success by Hollywood standards, but it has the chance to mean more. "The bittersweet truth is that Patty Jenkins is almost guaranteed to become the biggest-opening female director because the bar is so low," Amy Nicholson, MTV News' chief film critic, told CNN. Nicholson pointed out that female directors like Kathryn Bigelow, Elizabeth Banks and Sam Taylor-Johnson, who holds the current record with 2015's "Fifty Shades of Grey," have all directed hit films,
